 | A Simple Timeline may only include dates. Put a date every
100 years on a strip of paper that is about 2" tall. Make
the Timeline run the entire length of the room. A large size
is easier to read and emphasizes the long period of time covered in
the Bible. |
 | Extend the Timeline to the present year. |
 | Each time you
study a Bible story, let the children add to the Timeline
the name of the Book of the Bible, a picture reminding them of the
story, the names of the people in the story, or anything else that
will visually remind the children of what they have learned. |
 | If you want to make a detail Timeline, you might consider the
following.
 | If your church employs student interns, get them to make or
help make the Timeline. |
 | Making a Timeline would be a good Bible Study project for the Youth
Group, or any age group. |
 | Your class could make a portion of the Timeline each quarter. |
 | Anyone who helps make the Timeline will gain a better
understanding of the history in the Bible. |
