some of God's Promises.
The Major Biblical Covenants
 | Covenants with Noah.
 | Genesis 6:18 - Promise to save Noah and his family from the
flood. |
| Genesis 9:11 - Promise never again to destroy the earth by
flood. |

| Covenant with Abram. Genesis 12:2, 3, 7.
| Make Abram into a great nation. |
| Bless Abram. |

| Abram would be a blessing. |

| Genesis 28:15 - "I am with you and will watch over you
wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not
leave you until I have done what I have promised you." |
| Deuteronomy 31:8 - "The LORD himself goes before you
and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not
be afraid; do not be discouraged." |
| Psalm 50:15 - "and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me." |
| Luke 21:17-18 - "All men will hate you because of
me. But not a hair of your head will perish." |
| James 4:8 - "Come near to God and he will come near to

| Psalm 32:8 - "I will instruct you and teach you in the
way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." |
| John 8:12 - "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he
said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk
in darkness, but will have the light of life." |

Wrong:
| Matthew 6:14-15 - "For if you forgive men when they sin
against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do
not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." |
| 1 John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
unrighteousness." |

| Jeremiah 29:11 - "'For I know the plans I have for
you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.'" |
| Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest." |
| Luke 6:35 - "But love your enemies, do good to them,
and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward
will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to
the ungrateful and wicked." |
| John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave
his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have

| John 14:14 - "You may ask me for anything in my name,

| 1 John 5:14-15 - "This is the confidence we have
in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears
us. And if we know that he hears us-- whatever we ask-- we know that
we have what we asked of him." |
Promises To Remember When We Are Being Tempted To Do
Wrong:
| 1 Corinthians 10:13 - "No temptation has seized you
except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be
tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also
provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." |
| 2 Thessalonians 3:3 - "But the Lord is faithful, and he
will strengthen and protect you from the evil one." |
